The two three-dimensional stainless steel bar hands and the very narrow central seconds hand are both milled by an ultra-high-precision micro-machine. The center second hand is hand polished and heated to become blued steel. When the center-second hand is incorporated into the watch, the tip is bent by hand so that it fits perfectly with the seconds scale on the periphery of the dial.

Exterior compornets such as the case and crown are machined using the world’s highest level of ultra-high-precision micromachining machines to cut difficult-to-machine stainless steel with a precision of several microns. The NH TYPE 2A’s lugs are 0.5 mm thinner than those of the NH TYPE 1B.

The dial has a three-dimensional design with three levels. All Arabic indexes are hand-carved by skilled craftsman. After that, synthetic lacquer (cashew) is poured over the surface to create a three-dimensional finish.The NAOYA HIDA & Co. TOKYO brand logo and bar indexes are engraved by an ultra-high-precision microfabrication machine, and like the indexes, synthetic lacquer (cashew) is poured into them.

It is made of SUS 904L stainless steel, which is known for its high corrosion resistance but is only used by a very limited number of brands due to it is difficult to process.

The 16mm wide, vintage-style pin buckle is also made from SUS 904L stainless steel, which is machined by an ultra-precise micromachine before being polished. The shape of the pin is made up of richly curved lines. The leather strap is hand-stitched, the surface is in vegetable-tanned navy calf leather, and the back is rubber to prevent sweat penetration.
